Kristin R McKamey, MSN, FNP-BC

Kristin has over 20 years experience in various fields of healthcare in nursing, including cardiology/cardiovascular surgery care, critical care step down, hospice/end of life and palliative care, and primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, and transgender care. She has been providing addiction treatment for almost 3 years and is excited to be continuing her career as a specialist in addiction medicine and behavioral health. Kristin is passionate about providing empathetic care to what she feels is a marginalized and stigmatized population, to be able to ease the physical and emotional discomfort associated with beginning and maintaining a journey in addiction recovery for those who feel they have nowhere else to turn for help.

Julia Wilson, LMFT

Julia is an experienced clinician and leader with a notable history of working in acute hospitalization, private practice, and residential psychiatric settings. As a clinician, Julia has worked as an individual and couples therapist as well as a family therapist. Julia joined Pasadena Villa in 2016 and has remained dedicated to the treatment of clients with co-occurring diagnoses, complex presentations, and those with diagnoses of severe and persistent mental health illnesses. Throughout her work in residential care, Julia has demonstrated significant success building rapport with individuals who present with treatment-resistant psychosis while also incorporating psychoeducation for families that has allowed for increased understanding and reunification. Julia is skilled in a variety of therapeutic interventions including DBT, CBT including TF-CBT, EMDR, LEAP, and Bowenian Family Therapy. Prior to her role as Executive Director of Pasadena Villa, Julia held the positions of Director of Outpatient Services as well as Program Director. As a leader, Julia has implemented programmatic changes that have impacted client care with positive outcomes as well as offered care-focused training that have led to increased staff productivity and satisfaction. Julia has a passion for offering client-centered care in all she does and strives to create an environment that promotes healing and respect. Julia prides herself on a personal dedication to constant individual growth and understanding and has spearheaded training in the residential and outpatient system that includes Safe Zone LGBTQ+ education training.

Kristy Roll, LCSW

Kristy Roll, LCSW, serves as a Director at Cumberland Heights working with Family, Spiritual Care and Experiential Services. Cumberland Heights is an addiction treatment center that has been in operation for over 55 years. Kristy has been a counselor for 20 years working in addiction treatment, community mental health and she also spent several years working with military families. Kristy received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Ball State University and received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern Indiana. Kristy has worked with children, adolescents and adults in mental health and addiction and is EMDR trained. Kristy joined the Cumberland Heights team in 2012. She has served as an adolescent counselor in the Youth Program, the Young Men’s Program family counselor and as a Director at Cumberland Heights for 8 years. Kristy also served as an adjunct faculty at Belmont University teaching an addictions course.

Edward Harper, LCSW, LAADAC II

Edward Harper has been in the field of counseling and community services since 1975 and licensed in the state of Tennessee since 1988. He became a certified addiction counselor in 1990. Edward received his BA from Mars Hill College in North Carolina in 1976. And his MSW from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1986. He found his passion for working with older adults when he started working with senior services in 1990. In 2000, Edward developed a national and international program for adult caregivers. He currently works with Blount Memorial Hospital providing senior services and connecting caregivers to appropriate services. Edward has been in this role for twenty-four years. Prior to that, Edward worked with their psychiatric program providing family therapy and counseling services for both psychiatric and substance abuse clients. Additionally, Edward plays in the Pistol Creek Catch of the Day Band as a singer and guitarist.
