Description

Identifying and understanding the traits of adult children of alcoholics, addicts, and dysfunctional families is important for helping our clients and patients recognize their own experiences, needs, and patterns of behavior. With understanding, there comes safety, support, and validation. These are essential for us to create a safe and secure environment for our clients and patients to lean into vulnerability, which is important for healing.
