This presentation provides an introduction to the continuum of care with adolescents struggling with mental health and substance abuse. We will explore levels of care from inpatient psychiatric facilities to outpatient services. I will provide verbiage to share with parents and family members to communicate to them the process and their rights to treatment.

Tanya utilizes various modalities in treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Supportive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and “Accountability Therapy” to assist and guide clients in reaching their full potential. Her philosophy can be summed up as, “for individuals to reach happiness and contentment in life, everyone must find a balance in mind, body, and spirit.”
