Sessions will be available On-Demand
Clinicians working with patients struggling with suicidality need to be aware of their own emotional reactions. Experiencing fear, anger, anxiety, and helplessness are common emotional reactions. This workshop will help clinicians understand and manage their own beliefs about suicide and understand the role of countertransference in treatment to effectively treat this population.

The educational goal of this course it to increase knowledge about chronic suicidality.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Identify 2 personal beliefs about suicidal behavior.

Identify and explain 2 personal reactions to clients with suicidal behavior.

Discuss 3 ways to manage emotional reactions to suicidal behavior.
