Over the course of six modules, participants will get in-depth guidance on how to use basic sociometry and psychodrama techniques, spectrograms, locograms, floor checks, timelines, experiential letter writing, and the social atom with the clients they serve.
In this course, we’ll use recorded lectures, film clips, and text to demonstrate the embodied process of both role play and group processes that engage and bond participants. We’ll see how floor checks incorporate research-based education that pulls dry lecture material off chalkboards and turns it into spontaneous and alive case studies that both teach and heal. We’ll also learn how to use the trauma timeline to trace and work with developmental trauma.
