This presentation aims to provide attendees with a model to help them make ethical decisions when faced with various ethical dilemmas in the counseling field. The presentation will review the current data on ethical violations reported in two states, the current ethical codes of the American Counseling Association, and then how to apply ethical models to real-life examples of ethical dilemmas a counselor may face in counseling.

Participants will gain skills in ethical decision-making.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify all 9 sections of the ACA Code of Ethics and their components
- Explain all stages of at least one ethical decision-making model
- Apply one ethical decision-making model to a real-life example of an ethical dilemma
