Description

About 1 in 5 of all birthing parents will experience a perinatal mental health (PMH) condition, yet very few receive adequate treatment. This statistic is higher for individuals in marginalized communities such as Latine. PMH conditions without appropriate support can result in short and long-term adverse effects on the development of the baby, the birthing parents, and the family. This webinar will cover an overview of common perinatal mental health conditions and culturally responsive treatment available for the Latine population.

Target Audience
  • Counselors
  • Addiction Counselors
  • Social Workers
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
