The webinar focuses on avoiding boundary crossings, violations, and conflicts of interest when providing mental health services and discusses common dilemmas and practical guidelines to resolve those dilemmas. An interactive approach will be used to review and discuss case studies to demonstrate webinar objectives.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify relationships with clients and/or others that may result in boundary violations

  • Explain the difference between boundary crossings, boundary violations, and conflicts of interest

  • Identify common boundary dilemmas when providing mental health services
