This workshop will provide an overview of the option of adoption, provide a history of the changes in adoption practices and insight into the unique journey of each party touched by adoption.

Lori Arceneaux

Lori Arceneaux has been the Program Manager of the Adoption Program with Volunteers of America Southeast LA for nearly 17 years. Lori Arceneaux has worked with countless birth parents, adoptive parents and adopted persons. Lori Arceneaux has conducted numerous presentations about a variety of adoption related topics to both social workers and nurses. Lori Arceneaux is a certified trainer with Spaulding for Children to conduct Understanding Infant Adoption Trainings. Lori Arceneaux is a member of the Louisiana Adoption Advisory Board and NASW Louisiana.
