In this course, you will explore five functions of supervision with added information relevant to supervising Peer Support Specialists.

 

The course is relevant for those who are brand new to supervision while also giving those who are experienced supervisors best practices when working with and supervising Peer Support Specialists. 

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the role of the supervisor and give examples of tasks performed in the five core functions

  • Discuss the roles and responsibilities of supervisors and supervisees in each of these functional areas.

  • Review best practices in supervision and what peer support providers should expect from supervision.
