This training will cover what sex trafficking is, how it has changed, what it looks like, where it takes place, and what you can do to help prevent it. We will cover local and national statistics, go through specifics on cybersex trafficking, and how social media has influenced this population.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • We will examine a systemic perspective of identifying victims, how the grooming process starts and is maintained by the victim’s system, the socioeconomic impact of sex trafficking, and how social media is impacting all of these factors.
