Mindfulness is an effective way to manage stress, improve well-being, and produce positive health outcomes. This presentation will review the core elements of mindfulness, present research on the effectiveness of mindfulness for a variety of physical and psychological problems, and will demonstrate three mindfulness techniques that attendees can easily use in their daily lives.

The educational goal of this presentation is to increase participants’ understanding of mindfulness and demonstrate how to incorporate mindfulness techniques into their daily lives.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Identify two core elements of mindfulness.

Explain three benefits of mindfulness on overall health and well-being.

Demonstrate two effective ways mindfulness interventions can improve well-being.
