Description

Safety is the #1 focus for the intervention of child protection services (CPS) across the United States. The interventions and services are determined by threshold by which safety risk is defined, assessed, and the parental capacities towards protection of children. If you find yourself questioning why and how your mandated reporting will impact the decision whether to intervene in a child’s life, this training is for you. This training explores safety definitions, the role of mandated reporters, addressing parental protective capacities, and understanding CPS interventions.
