This session is for clinicians who have the desire to work with children ages 10 and under while implementing a “starter pack” for play therapy interventions. We will review the benefits of play therapy, play therapy techniques, play therapy based on age groups, and parent consultations.

Participants will gain increased competency in play therapy.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe two benefits of implementing play therapy with individuals of all ages
- Prepare a child-friendly therapy office
- Compile and implement at least four specific play therapy interventions
- Effectively explain play therapy to parents
