Description

Perinatal death is the kind of loss that is often misunderstood and parents have confusing sociocultural and familial messages about how and what to grieve. This course will help clinicians to develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of this particular loss and how to support those in your care.

Dvora Entin, LCSW, PMH-C specializes in reproductive and perinatal mental health, with advanced training by Postpartum Support International, ASRM and the MISS Foundation in compassionate bereavement. Dvora is a clinical consultant for Yesh Tikva (Jewish Infertility) and K’nafayim (Pregnancy Loss) and is a lead trainer for Postpartum Support International. As an adjunct professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, she developed a Maternal Mental Health curriculum for MSW students and teaches Coping with Loss. Dvora maintains a group private practice in Philadelphia, licensed in NY and NJ, and consults and presents nationally about mental health and supporting those in struggle.
