Perinatal death is the kind of loss that is often misunderstood and parents have confusing sociocultural and familial messages about how and what to grieve. This course will help clinicians to develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of this particular loss and how to support those in your care.

Participants will gain competency in working with clients dealing with perinatal loss.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify 3 key components of perinatal grief
- Identify 3 key strategies to support the bereaved
- Identify 3 kinds of perinatal loss
- Identify available resources for ongoing support beyond therapy
