This course is an introductory exploration of the infertility experience from a psychological and sociological standpoint. The course will explain the language of medical treatment and critical ways a therapist can support the individual and the couple

Dvora Entin, LCSW, PMH-C has developed programs for JFCS in both Phoenix and Philadelphia to address the unique mental health needs of the Orthodox Jewish Community, with a special interest in maternal wellness, infertility, culturally nuanced care, and compassionate bereavement. With specialized certification from Postpartum Support International in maternal mental health and Compassionate Bereavement Support by the MISS Foundation Dvora moderates, monthly pregnancy loss and Infertility phone support call, with participation from across the country. She is an adjunct professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, teaching Coping With Loss and Maternal Mental Health. Dvora maintains a private practice in Philadelphia and consults and presents nationally about mental health and supporting those in struggle.
