Children and adolescents are often unable to manage difficult emotions. Research indicates a growing number of anxiety and depressive disorders in our young people. Often this population lacks the tools to help them manage their emotions. In this presentation, you will learn how to help young people cultivate mindfulness to better manage their emotions. Additionally, this presentation will discuss how to implement mindfulness in an educational setting. By cultivating mindfulness, we can help children and adolescents become more successful and peaceful in the world.
