This webinar outlines the importance of accurate diagnoses-particularly amongst patients who endorse psychotic symptoms. The focus will lie on malingering of psychotic symptoms and the dangers of misdiagnosing malingering as well as misdiagnosing psychotic disorders

Participants will gain competency in psychosis and malingering.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the importance of accurate diagnoses-particularly amongst patients who endorse psychotic symptoms.
- Describe 3 symptoms of malingering psychotic symptoms
- Explain 4 dangers of misdiagnosing malingering as well as misdiagnosing psychotic disorders
- Asses the overview of the MFAST and SIRS-2
- Demonstrate 4 practical skills to identify hallucinations, delusions, and psychotic cognitive processes.
