The SKY Campus Happiness panel will share how young people from all over the world have turned their challenges into an opportunity to improve their mental wellness and the mental wellness of their entire college campuses. During the panel, participants will learn how evidence-based breathwork and meditation techniques, embodied somatic experiences, emotional intelligence training, and interactive group processes decrease stress and depression in young people while simultaneously boosting positive emotions, mental health, mindfulness and social connectedness. Participants will experience how SKY Campus Happiness techniques can boost well-being, foster calm alertness and support the flourishing of service leadership among young people. Attendees will learn best practices in sharing evidence based breathwork and meditation techniques as practitioners as well as part of peer to peer led mental wellness initiatives.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Describe how breathwork and meditation techniques decrease stress and depression in young people while simultaneously boosting positive emotions, mental health, mindfulness, and social connectedness

Explain 2 best practices for sharing evidence-based breathwork and meditation techniques and the SKY meditation technique with young people.
