At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Describe how an eating disorder develops as a coping mechanism.

Explain the connection between trauma, personality disorders, and eating disorders.

Identify the appropriate application of the 3-pronged protocol for clients with eating disorders.

Identify how EMDR can be used to target eating disorder behaviors.

List at least 3 commonly held negative cognitions of individuals with eating disorders.
