The educational goal of this workshop is to foster a deeper understanding of how systemic dynamics influence attachment patterns and recovery trajectories, while equipping participants with actionable strategies to advocate for systemic change within their professional settings.
Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the concept of attachment trauma.

  • Identify 2 or more attachment trauma implications for mental health and interpersonal relationships.

  • Summarize the intersection of attachment theory and systemic therapy in addressing attachment wounds within family systems and broader societal contexts.

  • Identify 3 or more systemic barriers and/or challenges that perpetuate attachment wounds and hinder recovery.

  • Describe 2 practical strategies or interventions for promoting systemic change to support healing and attachment security.

Brooke Stephens, LMFT

 

Brooke is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (TN #1492) and an Executive Clinical Advisor at BrightQuest Treatment Centers. Brooke began her journey at BrightQuest in 2015, taking on various roles from intern to executive leadership while having the opportunity to support and build a thriving therapeutic milieu that has aided many individuals with severe psychiatric diagnoses and their families successfully build a life of self-management, independence, and belonging. Brooke is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor in the State of Tennessee.

 

Khamaria Wright, LMFT

 

Khamaria was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology at Tennessee State University and Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University. While completing her Master’s Degree, Khamaria found a passion for working with people and helping them seek change. Following the completion of her master’s program, Khamaria gained experience in community mental health which allowed her to work with young men, women, individuals, couples, and families. In her free time, Khamaria enjoys traveling and connecting with her family and friends. Khamaria joined the BrightQuest Nashville team in July of 2020 and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Tennessee (1721).
