Abortion is a common and safe medical procedure, with 1 in 4 women having one over their lifetimes. Despite this, abortion is still a taboo topic. With legislation limiting abortion advancing nationally and at the state-level, professionals and clients alike are thinking about this important issue. This workshop will discuss using a reproductive justice lens to discuss abortion with colleagues and clients in order to provide nonjudgemental, supportive care.

Participants will gain understanding of abortion and how to discuss it with clients.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Define reproductive justice
- List 3 reasons abortion access is important
- Use 2 strategies to discuss abortion with clients in a non-stigmatizing way
