Designed to bolster clinicians’ skills in diagnosing, assessing, and recommending the appropriate level of care for clients with eating disorders, this workshop begins with a comprehensive review of diagnoses. Clinicians will try their hand at fleshing out nuances in diagnostics through several case vignettes. Clinicians will gain an understanding of what constitutes a thorough eating disorder assessment along with the ability to identify clients who are at medical risk. A review of the Level of care and insurance guidelines assists participants in determining the appropriate level of care for their clients.
