This workshop will explore treating family trauma through safety, processing and reconnection. Participants will receive an overview of complex trauma symptomatology focusing on the continuum of dissociation and dissociative disorders. Participants will gain skills in effectively treating clients facing these issues.

Participants will learn about family trauma and dissociation.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the impact of complex trauma on the development and integration of one’s psyche
- Define dissociative disorders and list 4 symptoms
- List 3 practical uses of Structural Dissociation Theory in conjunction with EMDR and Somatic Experiencing
- Describe the 3 main components of working with families and trauma
