During this online workshop, you will learn how an Introspective Art Journaling practice can help Therapists and clients contain difficult emotions, feel calm and centered and start building their resilience. Through different art materials and simple color and movement exercises, attendees will learn how art is effective emotional management and resilience-building tool. It’s such a simple art-making technique that almost anybody can do it. No previous art experience is necessary.
This workshop is for people who work in stressful or highly emotional environments and are looking to incorporate new self-care techniques that are time effective. It can also help people curious about art making but don’t know how to start their creative journey.

To develop an understanding on how journaling can increase resilience through creative expression.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain how developing an introspective art journaling practice can help with emotional management.
- Describe 3 or more ways that teen and adult clients can build resilience through developing an art-making habit.
- Name at least 2 art-based activities that can help individuals in treatment cope with difficult situations.
