Allison Applebaum, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in helping cancer patients and their caregivers. In Dr. Applebaum’s clinical work, she uses a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches, with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral and existential therapies. Dr. Applebaum has expertise in using cognitive-behavioral therapy to mitigate anxiety and depression and to improve the overall quality of life in patients with cancer and their caregivers.

Margaret Bevans, PhD, RN, AOCN, FAAN

Dr. Margaret Bevans, RN, Ph.D., AOCN, FAAN is a Clinical Nurse Scientist at The National Institutes of Health. Her research interests are Hematopoietic Stem Cells, Pediatric Oncology, and Childhood Cancer.
