Description

During this workshop, we will discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion and how to be mindful of multicultural issues that arise when working as a provider and in everyday activities. Participants will identify their own biases, values, and worldviews and examine how they are similar and different from others. From this workshop, participants will develop strategies to navigate the multicultural issues that can arise from cultural bias, differing values, and differing views and apply those strategies with clients and other people with whom they come into contact. They will also learn how to use this information to promote inclusive spaces.
