Death and Sexuality are both highly stigmatized in our culture, resulting in a glaring omission on conversations surrounding the intersection of sexuality at end of life. In this training, participants will reflect on the stigma of both sexuality and misconceptions surrounding sexuality at end of life. In addition, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the role sexuality holds throughout the lifespan and will increase comfort in addressing issues surrounding sexuality at end of life through both reflective exercises and specific assessment and intervention tools that can be used in diverse clinical settings.
