The Trauma-Informed Primary Care: Fostering Resilience and Recovery change package, has been used to enhance the trauma-informed approach in primary care settings. This presentation will explore ways in which we can enhance compassion resilience in the workforce to help reduce burnout and compassion fatigue, as well as provide optimized care to patients including processes around trauma inquiry, education, and response.

Participants will gain competency in integrating trauma-informed practices into the primary care setting.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the role of a Change Package as an evidence-based set of changes that lay out a practical approach for driving the integration of trauma-informed approaches in the primary care setting.
- Identify 2 trauma-informed care change concepts as opportunities to facilitate clinical and operational
practice change. - List 3 ways organizations can build compassion resilience in their workforce
- Plan for screening patients for trauma and referring them to treatment
