Description
This webinar will define individual, communal, intergenerational, historical, and racial trauma. It will explore ongoing impacts on the individual, communal and societal levels and incorporate the impacts of COVID-19, the 2020 social uprisings, and other relevant social events. We will explore practical steps to embodied healing, connection, and engagement.

Presenters
Diana Mena, LICSW, is a first-generation Nicaraguan American raised in Seattle, WA. Diana has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington and is the proud owner of Esperanza Counseling & Consulting, PLLC. As a clinical activist, she focuses on trauma, the psychological consequences of oppression, healing, and resilience. She provides consultation on race and social justice issues with the hope of leaving a better world for the next seven generations.
