In this course, participants will learn the basics of play therapy and how it differs from playing in therapy while learning about the powers of play, seminal theories identified in play therapy, and how to become play therapists.

Presenters
Tara Moser, LCSW, RPT-S, CAAPT, specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. She is the owner of Delta Family Counseling, LLC. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia, Colorado, and Illinois.
Tara also specializes in Play Therapy with children 2 -18 years old and incorporates animals and play therapy into her clinical work, including her three dogs, Harry Pawter, Chewbarka, and Howly Quinn. Tara is actively involved in the Association for Play Therapy, serving as the President of the Florida Association for Play Therapy and The National Association of Social Workers at local, state, and national levels.
