Educational Goal
Participants will gain competency in the use of body work and movement in the treatment of grief.
Description
This experiential workshop will help practitioners tune into their own body knowledge as a resource for increasing their capacity to work with and hold their clients’ grief. It will include an interactive lecture/discussion and a movement based experiential. Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and bring a journal or something to write in.

Presenters
Grace Bella Harman (she/her/hers) is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) and Embodied Grief Guide originally from Philadelphia and based in New Orleans. Her full-time work is centered on uplifting the imperative role of the body and movement in processing and metabolizing grief, and she is passionate about helping people of all ages activate their bodies to connect to their own vitality as well as each other.
