This session delves deeper into social work power principles and equips participants with tools to analyze the root causes of social problems. Participants will explore the “fishbone” technique to identify contributing factors and understand the issue holistically. Through collaborative work in groups, you’ll refine your problem statement and approach using your power as a social worker.

The educational goal of this workshop is to develop a comprehensive understanding of a chosen social problem through root cause analysis and leverage social work principles to refine the approach for impactful action.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
