In our culture monogamy is seen as the norm. Every romantic movie, novel, and story tells us that the goal in life is to find “the one.” How do we reconcile these norms with the growing number of individuals who have more than one “the one”? This presentation will explore non-monogamous relationships structures through a non-judgmental, strengths-based lens to gain better insight into how we can best serve clients who are in non-monogamous, polyamorous, or open relationship structures.
