Description
The mental health fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic is finally giving verifiable results and it’s time to talk about them. The isolation of the pandemic shutdowns has had significant impacts on the development of children and family dynamics. This training will focus on understanding how the pandemic has changed the presentation of common disorders in children and families. New research necessitates a change in how we conceptualize these cases to facilitate change through family and individual counseling. The training will give clinicians the confidence to educate families about the struggles they are facing and to plan effective interventions.
