This is an intermediate level training that builds on the basic skills and science of recovery for patients and family members. The training is designed to assist clinicians in understanding the science behind recovery as well as incorporating the 12-Step Philosophy and principles into the process of change that both patients and family members go through. This training will assist clinicians in educating family members and building tasks for the families while the patient is working their own program of recovery. Everyone has some change to do in recovery, and this presentation helps clinicians help family members understand this process.
