An introduction to the foundational concepts of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This presentation explores the current state of research on the efficacy of ACT, the 6 core concepts comprising ACT, and practical ways to implement ACT and its concepts into therapy.

Identify the 6 core concepts of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Discuss the role of mindfulness in ACT Apply 6 core concepts of ACT to various treatment settings; including general mental health, addiction, and family treatment.
